Brownie Ingredients

Method

Brownie Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars and Eggs

Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  6. 6

    Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then cut into squares. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup, and topped with whipped cream.
