Baby Back Ribs Marinade

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, and honey to form a thick marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Rub the marinade generously over the baby back ribs. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the marinated ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  5. 5

    Glaze with Barbecue Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).

  6. 6

    Finish Cooking

Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, slice, and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
