Chop House Caesar Salad

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Steak

Season the top sirloin steak with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Grill the Onions

In the same skillet, add sliced onions and grill until they are caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and cooked bacon. Toss well to combine.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

Place the salad on a plate, then top with the sliced top sirloin and grilled onions. Drizzle with balsamic reduction before serving.
