Chicken-Fried Steak

Prepare the Steak
Season the beef cube steaks with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Dip each steak in buttermilk, then dredge in flour until fully coated.

Fry the Steaks
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Bake the Biscuits
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until just combined. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
