Chicken Tenders

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Tenders

In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Coat the Chicken

Dip each chicken tenderloin first in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken Tenders

Carefully add the breaded chicken tenders to the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Cook the Fries

While the chicken is frying, prepare the frozen fries according to package instructions, either in an oven or fryer.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the fried chicken tenders with the cooked fries. Serve with rodeo sauce and honey mustard on the side.
