Blackened Snapper

Method

Cooking the Snapper

  1. 1

    Prepare the Snapper

Pat the snapper fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Cook the Snapper

Add the snapper fillets to the skillet, skin side down. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy and the fillets are blackened. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
