Method

Shrimp Preparation

  1. 1

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the jumbo shrimp, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.

  2. 2

    Add Beer Sauce

Pour in the beer and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Remove from heat.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 3

    Boil Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.

  2. 4

    Mash and Season

Add 2 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, milk, salt, and black pepper to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Garlic Bread Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of softened butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley.

  2. 6

    Toast the Bread

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, spread the garlic butter mixture on both halves, and broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the sautéed shrimp over a bed of garlic mashed potatoes, alongside the garlic bread.
