Method

Cooking the Sirloin

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Place the steak on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.

Baking the Potatoes

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub the russet potatoes and prick them with a fork.

  2. 4

    Bake the Potatoes

Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until tender. Remove and let cool slightly.

  3. 5

    Load the Potatoes (Optional)

Slice the potatoes open and top with butter, sour cream, chives, and cheddar cheese if you choose the loaded option.

Making the Salad

  1. 6

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 7

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then toss to combine.
