Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Make the Raspberry Puree

In a blender, combine the fresh raspberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds, pressing down with a spatula to extract as much puree as possible.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Syrup

In a saucepan, combine the water and remaining sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Allow the syrup to cool.

  3. 3

    Combine and Freeze

Once the syrup has cooled, mix it with the raspberry puree. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.

  4. 4

    Serve

Scoop the raspberry sorbet into bowls and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing dessert!
