Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the Meats

Stir in the smoked pork, spicy sausage, and chicken confit. Cook until the sausage is browned and heated through.

  4. 4

    Incorporate the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Mix in the Sauce

Pour in the canned diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer.

  6. 6

    Combine with Pasta

Once the sauce has thickened slightly, add the cooked angel hair pasta to the skillet. Toss to combine and heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  7. 7

    Serve

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
