Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Preparation of Bones

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Place the marrow bones cut side up on a baking sheet. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Roasting

Drizzle the bones with olive oil and roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the marrow is soft and starts to separate from the bone.

  3. 3

    Garnishing

While the bones are roasting, mix the chopped parsley and minced garlic in a bowl. This will be your garnish.

  4. 4

    Toasting the Bread

In the last 5 minutes of the bones roasting, place the sliced baguette or sourdough on the baking sheet to toast until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Serving

Remove the bones from the oven, and serve immediately with the toasted bread, parsley-garlic mixture, and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the marrow.
