Muffin Ingredients
Method
Muffin Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Muffin Batter
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- 2
Add Chocolate
Fold in the chopped semi-sweet chocolate into the batter.
- 3
Fill Muffin Tins
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners. Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter, then place a tablespoon of hot fudge sauce in the center of each, and cover with more batter until the cups are three-quarters full.
- 4
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
- 5
Cool and Serve
Allow muffins to cool for a few minutes, then gently remove them from the tin. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream on top.
