Cooking Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Make the Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until it forms a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
3. Add Cheese and Seasoning
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
4. Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well-coated.
