Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the imitation crab meat, cream cheese, chopped scallions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until well combined and smooth.

Assemble the Rangoon
Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over to create a triangle, and press the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Fry the Rangoon
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the krab rangoon in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve hot with sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side.
