Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pork
Trim any excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut it into large chunks.
- 2
Mix Marinade
In a bowl, mix together the orange juice, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Marinate Pork
Place the pork chunks in a slow cooker and pour the marinade over them. Add the bay leaves.
- 4
Slow Cook
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- 5
Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
- 6
Crisp the Pork (Optional)
For added texture, you can spread the shredded pork on a baking sheet and broil it in the oven for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
