Sirloin Beef Sliders

Slow Cooked Pulled Pork

Method

Sirloin Beef Sliders

  1. 1

    Prepare the beef mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine ground sirloin beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the patties

Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into slider patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover until melted.

  5. 5

    Assemble the sliders

Place each beef patty on a slider bun and top with lettuce, tomato slices, ketchup, and mustard.

Slow Cooked Pulled Pork

  1. 6

    Prepare the pork

Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Season with sliced onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Add liquids

Pour the BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar over the pork.

  3. 8

    Cook the pork

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.

  4. 9

    Shred the pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.

  5. 10

    Serve

Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker to keep warm. Serve on slider buns with coleslaw if desired.

Veggie Sliders

  1. 11

    Prepare the veggie mixture

In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork. Add cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 12

    Form the patties

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into slider patties.

  3. 13

    Cook the patties

Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of oil. Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

  4. 14

    Assemble the sliders

Place each veggie patty on a slider bun and top with avocado slices if desired.
