Champagne Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Champagne

Place the bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it's properly chilled.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Berries

Rinse the fresh berries under cold water and pat them dry gently with a paper towel. If using strawberries, remove the stems and slice them in half.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Glasses

If desired, rim the champagne flutes with sugar. To do this, moisten the rim of each glass with a slice of lemon or water, then dip the rim into a small plate of granulated sugar.

  4. 4

    Add Garnishes

Place a few berries at the bottom of each champagne flute. Add a mint leaf on top of the berries for an aromatic touch.

  5. 5

    Pour the Champagne

Once the Champagne is chilled, carefully pour it into each glass over the berries and mint, filling each glass to about two-thirds full.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish each glass with an additional berry and a mint leaf on top. Serve immediately and enjoy the toast!
