Cinnamon Sugar Topping

For Garnish

Method

Bambolinis Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  4. 4

    Add Nutella

Gently fold in the Nutella until evenly distributed, creating a marbled effect.

  5. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.

  6. 6

    Bake Bambolinis

Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cavity about 2/3 full. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Cool

Remove from the oven and let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Cinnamon Sugar Topping Preparation

  1. 8

    Mix Cinnamon Sugar

In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

Assembly

  1. 9

    Coat Bambolinis

Once the bambolinis are cooled, roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.

  2. 10

    Serve

Plate the cinnamon sugar-coated bambolinis, drizzle with chocolate sauce, and top with a dollop of whipped cream and a cherry on each.
