Crostini Preparation

Slice the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.

Toast the Baguette
Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.

Season the Beef
Pat the beef tenderloin dry and season all sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Sear the Beef
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Cook to Desired Doneness
Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast the beef for about 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness (130°F for medium-rare).
