Beef Patty
Cheddar Cheese
Popper Mix
Crispy Onions
Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
Method
Beef Patty
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patty
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties roughly 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
- 3
Popper Mix
- 4
Prepare the Poppers
Slice the jalapeños in half and remove the seeds. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese (for poppers), and bacon bits together until well combined.
- 5
Fill the Jalapeños
Stuff each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture. Set aside.
- 6
Cook the Poppers
Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
Assemble the Burger
- 7
Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking the beef patties, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
- 8
Build the Burger
On a toasted bun, place the beef patty with melted cheddar, add the stuffed jalapeños, and top with crispy fried onions.
- 9
Add Sauce
Drizzle raspberry chipotle sauce generously over the top of the onions.
- 10
Serve
Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately with extra sauce on the side.
