Layer the Baklava
Brush a 9x13 inch baking dish with melted butter. Place one sheet of phyllo dough in the dish and brush with more butter. Repeat this process, layering about 8 sheets of phyllo, brushing each with butter. In a bowl, mix the chopped pistachios, sugar, and cinnamon. Spread a portion of the pistachio mixture over the phyllo. Continue layering phyllo (about 4-5 sheets), brushing each with butter, and adding more pistachio mixture until all ingredients are used, finishing with about 8 layers of phyllo on top.

Cut the Baklava
Using a sharp knife, cut the baklava into diamond or square shapes.
- 4
Bake the Baklava
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- 5
- 6
Pour the Syrup
Once the baklava is done baking, remove it from the oven and immediately pour the warm honey syrup over it, ensuring all pieces are covered.
- 7

Allow the baklava to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
