Straining the Yogurt
In a large bowl, mix the plain yogurt with salt. Line a fine mesh strainer with cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel and place it over another bowl to catch the whey. Pour the yogurt mixture into the lined strainer and cover it with the edges of the cheesecloth. Let it strain in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, or until it reaches your desired thickness.

Serving the Labneh
Once the yogurt has strained, transfer the labneh to a serving dish. Drizzle olive oil over the top and garnish with freshly chopped mint leaves. Serve with pita bread or vegetable sticks for dipping.
