Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Ahi Tuna
Coat the Ahi tuna with sesame seeds evenly on all sides. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the tuna for 1-2 minutes on each side, until the outside is golden brown but the inside remains rare. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.
- 2
Prepare the Salad Base
In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, fresh cabbage, pickled red onions, edamame, and sliced scallions. Toss gently to mix the ingredients.
- 3
Slice the Avocado
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out. Slice it thinly and set aside.
- 4
Assemble the Salad
Layer the sliced Ahi tuna over the salad base. Top with avocado slices and sprinkle wonton crisps on top.
- 5
Serve with Dressing
Drizzle toasted sesame dressing over the salad before serving. Enjoy!
