Mix Cream Cheese and Mayonnaise
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and mayonnaise. Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend until smooth.

Add Cheeses and Pimentos
Add the grated sharp cheddar cheese and diced pimentos to the bowl. Stir until evenly distributed.

Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

Taste and Adjust Seasoning
Taste the pimento cheese and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper as needed.

Chill the Pimento Cheese
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Butter the Bread
Spread butter on one side of each slice of Texas toast.

Once the bottom side is golden brown, flip the slices over. Spread a generous amount of pimento cheese on the unbuttered side of each slice.
