French Toast Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the French Toast Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.

  2. 2

    Dip the Bread

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated, then transfer to the skillet.

  3. 3

    Cook the French Toast

Cook the bread slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Add more butter as needed for the remaining slices.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Tomato

Slice the medium tomato into thin rounds.

  3. 6

    Assemble the Filling

On one slice of French toast, layer the crispy bacon, raw spinach, and tomato slices. Top with another slice of French toast to complete the sandwich.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Sandwich

Cut the sandwich in half if desired and serve with maple syrup on the side for dipping.
