Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice them thinly. Mince the garlic.

Prepare the mushrooms

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the sliced mushrooms, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and browned.
