Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your smoker or grill to 225°F (107°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs. In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika to create a rub. Apply the rub generously over both sides of the ribs.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs in the smoker or on the grill. Smoke for about 4 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat starts to pull away from the bones. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with whisky BBQ sauce.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Baby Potatoes

While the ribs are smoking, rinse the baby potatoes under cold water. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and return to the pot.

  4. 4

    Roast the Baby Potatoes

Drizzle olive oil over the cooked potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in a 400°F (200°C) oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Seasonal Vegetables

Wash and chop your seasonal vegetables. Steam or sauté them in a little olive oil until they are tender but still vibrant in color, about 5-7 minutes.

  6. 6

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix and coleslaw dressing. Toss until the cabbage mixture is well-coated. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  7. 7

    Serve

Once the ribs are done smoking, remove them from the grill or smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes. Cut the ribs into portions and serve with roasted baby potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and coleslaw on the side.
