Mac'n'Cheese Donuts

Preparation

Cook the Macaroni
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce. Stir in the egg and chopped green onions. Mix well until combined.

Shape the Donuts
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then scoop into donut molds. Make sure to pack the mixture tightly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

Prepare the Breading
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Crush Flamin’ Hot Cheetos® into fine crumbs on a plate.

Coat the Donuts
Remove the donuts from the mold and coat each donut in the crushed Cheetos®. Place on a baking sheet.

Bake
Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Prepare Fancy Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and hot sauce to taste.

Serve the Mac'n'Cheese donuts hot, drizzled with fancy sauce.
