Prepare the Mac'n'Cheese
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and return to pot.

Mix the Cheese
Add sharp cheddar cheese, cream cheese, milk, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper to the macaroni. Stir until fully combined and creamy.

Make the Dough
In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the mac'n'cheese mixture until well combined.

Shape the Donut Holes
Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mac'n'cheese dough and roll them into balls.

Coat in Cheetos
Roll each donut hole in the crushed Flamin' Hot Cheetos until well coated.

Fry the Donut Holes
Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry donut holes in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Fancy Sauce
Mix ranch dressing with a touch of hot sauce if desired. Serve alongside the donut holes.

Garnish
Chop green onions and sprinkle over the donut holes before serving.
