Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Grate the paneer and set aside. Chop the tomatoes, onion, and green chili finely. Also, chop the coriander leaves for garnishing.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Cook the Onions

Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until they turn translucent.

  2. 3

    Add Spices

Mix in the ginger-garlic paste, green chili, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant.

  3. 4

    Add Tomatoes

Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan. Cook until the tomatoes become soft and mushy, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 5

    Add Paneer

Now, add the grated paneer to the pan and mix gently. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.

  5. 6

    Finish with Garam Masala

Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another minute or so. Turn off the heat.

  6. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish the paneer bhurji with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with bread or paratha.
