Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, another with beaten eggs and milk, and the last with breadcrumbs.
- 2
Bread the Cheese Curds
Dip each cheese curd first into the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Cheese Curds
Carefully add the breaded cheese curds to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Serve
Serve the fried cheese curds hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
