Marinate the Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the Skillet
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until it is very hot.

Assemble the Sandwich
- 5
Prepare the Tomato
Slice the tomato into even rounds.
- 6
Toast the Rolls
In the same skillet, lightly toast the potato rolls until golden brown.

Prepare the French Fries
Cook French fries according to package instructions until crispy.
- 9
Serve the Dish
Serve the blackened chicken sandwiches hot alongside a generous portion of French fries.
