Method

Brewing Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

2

Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

3

Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.

Sweetening (Optional)

4

Add Sweetener

If you prefer sweet tea, add your choice of sweetener (1 cup of granulated sugar, honey, or 1 tsp of stevia) while the tea is still warm. Stir until fully dissolved.

Flavoring (Optional)

5

Add Flavor Enhancers

If desired, add 1 cup of lemon juice, fresh mint leaves, or peach slices to the brewed tea for extra flavor.

Chilling and Serving

6

Chill the Tea

Let the brewed tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 1-2 hours until chilled.

7

Serve Over Ice

To serve, fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
