Wine Ingredients
Method
Wine Making Process
- 1
Harvesting
Pick the Chardonnay grapes from the vineyard at optimal ripeness. Ensure the grapes are healthy and free from rot.
- 2
Crushing and Pressing
Crush the grapes gently and press them to extract the juice. Collect the juice in a fermentation vessel.
- 3
Fermentation
Add the yeast to the juice and allow it to ferment at a controlled temperature of around 16-18°C for 2-4 weeks.
- 4
Sulfite Addition
Add sulfites to the wine to prevent oxidation and spoilage after fermentation is complete.
- 5
Malolactic Fermentation
Introduce malolactic bacteria to convert sharp malic acid into softer lactic acid, enhancing the wine's complexity.
- 6
Aging
Age the wine in oak barrels for 6-12 months to develop flavor and texture. Monitor the aging process closely.
- 7
Bottling
Once aged, filter the wine and bottle it for storage. Ensure bottles are sealed properly to maintain quality.
