Cucumber-Infused Ford's Gin

Mint Simple Syrup

Cocktail Mixture

Method

Cucumber Infusion

  1. 1

    Infuse the Gin

In a jar or container, combine 2 cups of Ford's Gin with 1 medium sliced cucumber. Seal the container tightly and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.

Mint Simple Syrup Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Syrup

In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Once dissolved, add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat and let it steep for 30 minutes. Strain the syrup into a clean container and discard the mint leaves. Allow the syrup to cool before using.

Assemble the Cocktail

  1. 3

    Mix the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of the cucumber-infused Ford's Gin, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, and 1/2 cup of the mint simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

  2. 4

    Serve

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes. Top with 1 cup of club soda and garnish with a cucumber slice and a sprig of mint if desired. Serve immediately.
