Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Add Tea
Once the water has reached a boil, remove it from heat and add 4 teaspoons of loose leaf tea or the equivalent number of tea bags.

Infuse Tea
Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

After steeping, add 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 inch of sliced fresh ginger to the brewed tea.

Stir the tea well to dissolve the honey and distribute the flavors evenly.

If using loose leaf tea, strain the tea into cups to remove the tea leaves. If using tea bags, simply remove the bags.
