Method

Infused Vodka

  1. 1

    Infuse the Vodka

In a clean glass jar, combine the Gray Duck vodka, sliced pears, and fresh sage leaves. Seal the jar tightly and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for 3-5 days, shaking gently every day to mix the ingredients.

  2. 2

    Strain the Infusion

After the infusion period, strain the vodka through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle to remove the solids. Discard the solids and set the infused vodka aside.

Gimlet Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Gimlet

In a cocktail shaker, combine 60 ml of the infused vodka, 60 ml of elderflower liqueur, 30 ml of fresh lime juice, and 15 ml of simple syrup.

  2. 4

    Shake with Ice

Add ice cubes to the shaker, cover it with the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  3. 5

    Strain into Glass

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnishing

  1. 6

    Garnish the Drink

Float 2 fresh sage leaves and 2 pear slices on top of the drink for garnish. Serve immediately.
