Method

Preparing the Ribs

  1. 1

    Step 1: Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs to ensure better flavor and tenderness.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Apply the Rub

Generously coat the ribs with sweet & spicy rib rub, massaging it into the meat. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  3. 3

Step 3: Slow Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover them tightly with another layer of foil. Cook in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Grill the Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with spicy housemade BBQ sauce. Grill each side for about 5-7 minutes, until caramelized.

Preparing Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Step 1: Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 6

    Step 2: Prepare the Garlic

While the potatoes are cooking, peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

  3. 7

    Step 3: Mash the Potatoes

Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the garlic, butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Preparing Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 8

    Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the mixed seasonal vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 9

    Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still bright in color. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
