Prepare the Coffee Mixture
Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and allow it to cool. Optionally, you can add a splash of coffee liqueur for extra flavor.

Whisk the Egg Mixture
In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and granulated sugar until thick and pale. Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth.

Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, making sure not to soak them. Lay them in a single layer in a serving dish.

Layer the Mixture
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill and Serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
