Brewing Instructions

1

Mashing

In a large brew kettle, heat 3 liters of water to approximately 160°F (71°C). Add the Pale Ale Malt and Crystal Malt to the kettle, stirring well. Maintain the temperature for about 60 minutes.

2

Boiling

After mashing, bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the Nugget Hops and boil for 60 minutes. In the last 15 minutes of boiling, add the Citra Hops.

3

Cooling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches around 70°F (21°C).

4

Fermentation

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter. Add the yeast and seal with an airlock. Allow the beer to ferment for 1-2 weeks at room temperature.

5

Bottling

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the corn sugar in 1 cup of water and add it to the beer. Bottling your beer in sanitized bottles and cap them. Let them condition for 1-2 weeks.

6

Enjoy!

Once conditioned, chill the bottles and enjoy your homemade Cahaba Blonde!
