Prepare the Glass
Start by chilling an old fashioned glass with ice water.

Mix the Cocktail
In a mixing glass, combine the Michter's Small Batch Bourbon and Bern's Barrel Aged Old Fashioned Syrup.

Stir
Add ice to the mixing glass and stir the mixture for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Empty the ice water from the chilled old fashioned glass and strain the mixture into the glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in. Add the filthy cherry as a garnish.
