Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Make the Brownies

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until combined.

  3. 3

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  4. 4

In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. 5

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool and cut into squares.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Sundae

Place two brownie squares in a bowl.

  7. 7

Add two scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the brownies.

  8. 8

Drizzle hot fudge generously over the ice cream and brownies.

  9. 9

Top with whipped cream and sprinkle toasted peanuts on top.

  10. 10

    Serve immediately and enjoy!
