Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In three separate bowls, set up a dredging station: one with cornstarch, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Coat the Shrimp

Dip each shrimp first into the cornstarch, then into the egg, and finally coat it with the panko breadcrumbs. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Fry the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated shrimp and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Char the Romaine

Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Cut the romaine heads in half lengthwise and brush the cut sides with olive oil. Grill the romaine for about 2-3 minutes until charred and slightly wilted.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving platter, place the charred romaine halves. Top with fried shrimp, sliced radishes, and shredded gouda cheese. Drizzle green goddess dressing over the top.

  6. 6

    Serve

Garnish with lemon wedges and serve immediately.
