Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Preheat your broiler and prepare a baking sheet. Carefully split the lobsters in half lengthwise using a sharp knife. Remove the tomalley (green part) and any roe if present.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

Place the lobster halves on the baking sheet, shell side down. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the melted butter and stir to combine.

  4. 4

    Broil the Lobster

Brush the lobster meat generously with the melted butter mixture. Place the baking sheet under the broiler and broil for about 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and drizzle additional lemon juice over the lobster. Serve immediately with the remaining melted butter on the side for dipping.
