Method
Steak
- 1
Prepare the Steak
Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

- 3
- 4
Rest the Steaks
Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Fries
- 5
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.
- 6
Soak the Fries
Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, which helps them crisp up.
- 7
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 8
Fry the Potatoes
Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Fry them in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
- 9
Season the Fries
Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with salt.
Garlic Butter
- 10
Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- 11
Finish the Garlic Butter
Stir in chopped fresh parsley and lemon juice. Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes to infuse the flavors.
