Preparation of Seafood

Prepare the Shrimp
In a large bowl, season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

Prepare the Scallops
Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the Fish
Cut the fish fillets into serving-sized pieces. Season with salt and black pepper.
Cooking Seafood

Cook the Shrimp
In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Making Tartar Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, capers, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

Chill Tartar Sauce
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the tartar sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving

Arrange the Platter
On a large serving platter, arrange the cooked shrimp, scallops, and fish. Serve with the chilled tartar sauce on the side.
