Salmon

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil, and season each fillet with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the stick of butter.

  2. 5

    Cook the Garlic

Add minced garlic cloves to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic.

  3. 6

    Add Lemon Juice and Zest

Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, and allow the sauce to simmer for another minute.

  4. 7

    Finish with Parsley

Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Salmon

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on serving plates.

  2. 9

    Drizzle with Sauce

Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the grilled salmon fillets.

  3. 10

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with extra parsley if desired, and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
