Shrimp Marinade

Method

Prepare Shrimp Marinade

  1. 1

    Melt Butter and Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and add minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine.

  2. 2

    Marinate Shrimp

In a large bowl, add the black tiger shrimp. Pour the marinade over the shrimp, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Prepare Cocktail Sauce

  1. 3

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

In a bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Stir until well mixed. Adjust seasoning to taste and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Grill Shrimp

  1. 4

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using skewers, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  2. 5

    Skewer and Grill Shrimp

If using skewers, thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from the grill.
