Garlic Butter Seasoning
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Set aside to cool slightly.
- 2
Prepare the Halibut
Rinse the halibut fillets under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grilling
- 3
Grill the Halibut
Place the halibut fillets on the preheated grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them. Carefully flip the fillets and brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the top. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
- 4
Serve
Remove the halibut from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the top and garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
