Salmon

Sweet Potato Fries

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Apply Marinade

Place the salmon fillets in the marinade and coat them evenly. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preparing the Sweet Potato Fries

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 4

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into fries (about 1/4 inch thick).

  3. 5

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  4. 6

    Bake the Fries

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 7

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 8

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Remove the salmon and sweet potato fries from the heat. Serve the grilled salmon alongside the sweet potato fries. Garnish with additional dill or lemon wedges if desired.
